What’s Digital Engagement?

Public sector organisations have been consulting citizens, raising awareness of new schemes, dealing with service user feedback and doing traditional 'Comms' for years.

Social media makes it possible to do these sorts of things in new ways, getting new communities involved, making bureaucracies more human, friendly and responsive to feedback, and maybe even saving money.
