Following the official Coronation of The King and Queen Consort on 6 May, you will be able to join in the town’s celebration on Sunday 7 May – bring your friends and family, and come along to Stangrove Park from 1pm to 7pm for Edenbridge’s Coronation Big Lunch! There will be lots of entertainment including live music, face-painting, crafts, a royal quiz and more. You can also bring along a picnic or enjoy a tasty treat from one of the food trucks or stalls. This FREE event is being organised by Heart of Sevenoaks on behalf of Edenbridge Town Council. There will be events taking place across the country over the Coronation Weekend as well as a concert at Windsor Castle. Their Majesties want to encourage people to spend this time celebrating with friends, families and their communities. And don’t forget – Monday 8 May will be a public Bank Holiday! Our miniature railway is situated in the grounds of the 12th century St Katherines Priory used as a community hub. We run trains around the grounds the first Sunday of every month which in May coincides with the Coronation Big Lunch. We are a not for profit community attraction £2 a ride. All money raised currently goes towards completing the track to go all around the grounds. Apart from the trains the grounds provide a quiet and serene place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city whilst still being in the centre of the community. There is no charge for entry for the picnic and light refreshments are available. Open 11am - 3pm
