Roberton Park, or in the Village Hall if the weather is against us.

There will be games for children of all ages, a photo booth for people to make memories for the Village Facebook page, and an art area so that the children of the village can express themselves in various media.

Coronation Pilgrimage and Celebration Big Lunch

All Saints Church Hall, Marazion, Cornwall TR17 0AD

Our local communities are invited to join us for lovely walks and a Coronation Celebration Big Lunch on Monday 8 May. At midday (12 noon) walkers will set out from Ludgvan Church, Perranuthnoe Church and St Hilary Church in West Cornwall and will meet at All Saints Church Hall in Marazion. We will take a picnic, or bring a plate to share, and eat together in the hall. Then at 2pm we will set off again and walk over the causeway at low tide to St Michael's Mount. Then we walk up to the castle at the top of the Mount where there will be a short celebration service in the little chapel at 2.45pm. Some of the children in Ludgvan are busy now making a brilliant banner (designed by a local artist) to carry with them on the day. Everybody is welcome to join us for all or part of this great afternoon!

Duns Big Community Lunch and Market

The Market Square in Duns

A Heart for Duns and Duns Rotary are sponsoring a Big Community Lunch and Market in the heart of the historic market town of Duns under the shadow of the Mercat cross. Local vendors will be selling a variety of items, from baked goods and bread to handmade candles. The market starts at 10:00 AM followed by a big community lunch taking place in the middle of the market square, kicked off by our very own Duns Pipe Band at Noon. Attendees are encouraged to buy food from vendors, local businesses or bring their own to share. All are welcome!
