The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) runs an official Facebook page and Twitter feed for The Highway Code. The channels, which launched in December 2011, provide daily reminders of the rules of the road. DSA also offers a weekly email reminder of rules from The Highway Code.

The social channels were followed by the launch of digital editions of The Highway Code, including e-books and an official iPhone app.

These new channels and formats help to make sure that all road users – not just learner drivers – know The Highway Code and stay up to date with the rules of the road. This overall campaign won a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award in 2012.
