Welcome to volunteering at the Trust. This is a great way to find out what volunteering at the Trust is like, meet other volunteers and hear about the range of great activities that you can get involved with. You'll have the chance to meet our wonderful team of Volunteer Lock Keepers and will also get to take part in some local volunteering. We'll meet at Startops End Car Park - meet in the spaces beyond Bluebells Cafe-. The session will start at 10:00am and conclude at 14:00pm.

Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings, Shrewsbury

Come and help out at Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings and in the local area. Removing Invasive Non-Native weeds from the wildflower meadow, litter-picking on site and in the surrounding areas of Ditherington, Castlefields and Greenfields, as well as finding out about regular volunteering opportunities here and at other local organisations.

Colehill Rainbows will be Litter Picking around Olivers Park Cutlers Place from 10am to 14:00pm. We would love you to join us and see what Guiding is all about as we need leaders so we can continue to give Girls more opportunites in Guiding. You dont need expericence as you will get traning and we have a lovley team. During the event you will get a chance to talk to the Rainbow Leaders about Vouleentering for Guiding as well as helping the Rainbows to Litter Pick. Please Bring a pack lunch as we will be having a picnic to celebrate the coronation and play some games after the litter pick.

Skelmanthorpe Community Centre, Elm Street, Skelmanthorpe, Huddersfield

On May 8th we want the village to show Skelmanthorpe Community Centre some love! Whatever your skills, we can find a job for you, so we can freshen the centre up and help make it a real gem at the heart of Shat! From a spot of painting to tidying up the grounds, we will have lots going on on the day, and anyone who wants to lend a hand will be very welcome!

Greenhill, Herne Bay

No matter how much time you have to give, there's an opportunity for you in Girlguiding Herne Bay Division. She’ll laugh, sing and make a happy mess! We have plenty of magic moments at Rainbows, for girls 4 to 7 years, in regular weekly unit meetings. Join us at one of our sessions for a volunteer taster. Girlguiding in Herne Bay is entirely run by volunteers, with 15 units throughout the town and surrounding areas. Come and discover what volunteering has to offer, as a unit helper or unit leader in one of our units. Rainbows welcomes all girls from 4 to 7 years old for play, learning and tons of fun in a colourful, safe space. It’s a wonderful world of adventure, week after week, just for her. Open up your life to new experiences and adventures, meet new people and develop skills you didn't know you had! Whether you see yourself being an extra pair of hands, as a unit helper, or becoming more involved as a unit leader, or in a supporting role outside of unit meetings.

Catterick Garrison Saddle Club, Loos Road, Catterick Garrison

Our volunteers and visitors will be welcome at our Family Fun Day at the Catterick Garrison Saddle Club on Loos Road DL9 4LQ, which will include games and pony rides. Come and see how we give disabled people the chance to improve their mental and physical wellbeing whilst having lots of fun. Volunteering with us when you have the time on Wednesdays and/or Saturdays will give you tremendous satisfaction and you will be doing something really worth while to help others.More details to follow.

Come along to our community event in Market Square, central Enfield with other local charities and youth groups for PR, fund raising and recruiting and a chance to learn CPR with AEDS and other First Aid skills

Southern Maltings has a Courtyard Garden that we open in the Summer. It just needs some TLC and flowers added to make it look beautiful again for the summer months and for the community to enjoy.

Bramble Woods, Wavell Road, Catterick Garrison

e50K is a non-for-profit set up and run by military community members. Our aim is to reduce discrepancy between service and civilian life by creating employment, delivering education, supporting enterprise and engaging both the military and local communities to come together to improve opportunities for all. Our project in Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire is doing this through our site Bramble woods. Hosting events, creating employment and generating a beautiful space for the community including allotments, fire pit area and wildflower meadows. We need volunteers to come help us build and plant the allotments to create a welcoming and productive space for the community to enjoy and benefit from. We have been donated many materials from local businesses and organisations and now need the man power to bring it all together.

A place to join your community in supporting one another. Planting, painting pots, time capsule (to mark the corontion), crossheads, tea and cake, plant swap. Come and join us, whether you stay to support or drop by to participate and say hello, it all plays its part.

Join Girlguiding Southampton Central for a drop-in activity day. You'll find activities for ages 4-18 to give you a taste of our everyday fun. Come as a family and try out our activities. You'll find CPR training, marshmallow toasting, circus skills and much more. If you are thinking about joining us a volunteer come and chat to our friendly volunteers about the opportunities available. We'd love to have you and can offer support and training at the start of your journey and into the future. Everyone is welcome.

Join us for a marshmallow roasting session and get to know the 27th Darlington Scout Group! This is a great opportunity for new potential volunteers to come and meet our leadership team, ask questions about Scouting, and learn more about the activities and opportunities we offer. Plus, you'll get to roast marshmallows around the campfire and enjoy a tasty treat! We welcome families from the local area to come and take part in this fun and informal event. Who knows, you might just catch the Scouting bug and become a valuable member of our team!

Join us for a fun and rewarding few hours of volunteering at the 27th Darlington Scout Group! We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to help us sort, tidy, and catalogue our storage container, making it easier for us to access the equipment and resources we need to support our local community.
With your help, we can ensure that our valuable resources are well-organized and readily available for our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to use. Come and be a part of our team, meet new people, and make a real difference in our community!
