Imagine yourself as King or Queen of the castle at Bodiam over the Coronation three-day weekend.

Celebrate The Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty the Queen Consort against the backdrop of Bodiam Castle, with flags, bunting and picnic spots in the grounds.

Families can join a craft workshop to decorate their own crowns, inspired by the castle setting over the coronation weekend. 6–8 May, 12.30–4pm, £2.50 per item.

Have a go at the medieval sport of archery, with trained instructors from Joe’s Bows teaching you everything you need to know. 6–8 May, 10.30am–4pm, £3.50 for 6 arrows.

Come along to interactive storytelling with Ed Boxall performing his own poems, bringing Dragons’ Wood and other stories to life in the castle, along with violinist Naomi Burrell. 7 May, 11am–12noon & 1–2pm. Book signings in the shop 12.15–12.45pm and 2.30–3pm.
