We're hosting a Coronation Big Lunch so come party with us, get to know some new people, and have fun.

We're hoping to get as many people involved from the Collier Street community as possible. If you would like to help out in any way please let us know, all contributions are valuable.

Expect yummy party food, lively music, some games, and great company in our lovely school grounds.

What:
The fun starts at noon and lasts until 3pm.
We'll all sit down for lunch at 12.30pm and then the fun and games start until we round-off with a patriotic sing-song and some flag waving.

Where:
Collier Street School, TN12 9RR.

When:
Sunday, May 7th - 12 noon to 3pm


Bring your own food, drink, picnic rugs and chairs - don't forget your union flags.

Dress code: We'd love people to wear red, white and blue, but please wear whatever you are comfortable in.


To make this as fun and safe please:

*Bring a cake or sweet treat for the Royal Bake Off - all ages can take part
*Walk if you can. If you drive use the parish car park. There will not be any parking at school or vehicles allowed on the school grounds.
*Avoid bringing glass where possible
*Use the recycling bins and take your rubbish home with you
*Leave your dogs at home

This is a free event open to everyone in the village so please spread the word and encourage your neighbours to come along.

An All Age Worship Service will take place on Sunday 7th May AT 10.30am followed by a BIG LUNCH in the Manse Garden from 12 Noon where everyone can gather to eat their own picnics; enjoy coronation themed baking and enjoy fun activities for all the family.

Just come along and bring your picnic. Tables and chairs will be provided. Why not bring a cake along to the ‘community cake table’ where cakes will be placed and anyone is welcome to come along and grab a slice (or 2). Soft drinks will also be provided.

In celebration of His Majesty's Coronation we at 231st Shiregreen Scout Group thought we would continue our long standing tradition of Community service by opening our Scout Hut up to the public so they can join us in drinking tea and eating cake to celebrate our Royal Patron. The event shall start at 2pm on the 6th of May and end around 5pm. We are providing a barbeque, tea, coffee, and cake. We will be playing music from across Britain and the Commonwealth and have games and activities for younger children. This event is open to all people of all ages. If you choose to attend we would appreciate if you can donate extra cake but its not compulsory.
