The Department of Health needed to broaden the reach of a summit on dementia at the end of the UK’s G8 presidency in December 2013. They extended an existing microsite to livestream the event, adding liveblogging too and a stream of photos from Flickr.

The digital campaigns lead for the project, Anna Hepburn, blogged about their work at Comms2Point0.

The UK is hosting a G8 summit on dementia in London on 11 December. The summit aims to develop co-ordinated global action on dementia.
