Hosting your own Coronation event?

If you’re hosting your own public event, street party or other celebration, submit your event plans to feature on our interactive map.

You can join up with your local community in lots of ways to plan a celebration together, such as setting up a group chat or using the Nextdoor app to connect with your neighbours. Make sure you read and follow the street party guidance on GOV.UK too.

Norton Canes Coronation Screening and Tea Party

We will be holding a screening of the Coronation at Norton Canes Community Centre, which will include a tea party style buffet, live performance from The Backstreet Company and lots of give away’s.

Coronation themed Baby Rhyme Time – Ashford Library

Come along to Ashford Library to celebrate the coronation with a special royal-themed Baby Rhyme Time from 10:30am to 11:30am. Babies and toddlers will enjoy singing familiar songs and clapping along. All welcome. No booking required.

Coronation themed Lego Club – Ashford Library

Come and create exciting constructions to celebrate the King’s coronation at our free Lego Club at Ashford Library. Design, construct, play and create together to your heart’s content! Saturday 6 May, 11:45am to 12:15pm Everyone welcome. Suitable for children aged 6 to 10 years old.

Ready to celebrate the King’s coronation? Come along to our wonderful FREE family craft session at Bockhanger Library on Friday 12 May from 3pm to 4pm.
