We are a popular, community-based pub and restaurant, and our event will be taking place across Saturday 6th May – Sunday 7th May to celebrate the King’s Coronation…
Celebrate the event of the year in style with us here at The Malthouse.
We have put together a fun filled weekend for the King’s Coronation, with a focus on nostalgic family fun.
We will have a big screen in our garden so you can watch the coronation in full, throughout.
Family entertainment will be at the fore, with a number of different fairground games, a bouncy castle, face painting, and more.
On Saturday afternoon, from 1:30pm, we will host a live Swing and Jazz quartet, led by famous local musician, Geoff Atherton.
We will be serving fantastic food all weekend, with our BBQ running (weather pending). Cream teas will be available all weekend, as will a traditional ice cream parlour.
Two sections of our garden seating will be available on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to have a guaranteed table on either day, two more sections have tables available to pre-book.
We will be open each from 9am onwards, serving brunch until 11:30, and main menus from 12.
