Hosting your own Coronation event?

If you’re hosting your own public event, street party or other celebration, submit your event plans to feature on our interactive map.

You can join up with your local community in lots of ways to plan a celebration together, such as setting up a group chat or using the Nextdoor app to connect with your neighbours. Make sure you read and follow the street party guidance on GOV.UK too.

Coronation with a Cuppa, Ely

We’ll be showing the coronation on our big screen, come along and grab a cuppa to enjoy the special occasion with. From 10.30am the screen will go on, hopefully with subtitles.

Coronation themed Baby Rhyme Time, Bearsted

Join us at Madginford Library on Monday 24 April at 10:30am for a very special Coronation-themed Baby Rhyme Time! There will be the usual fun songs to sing along to, followed by a royally good story before finishing the morning with a craft – making your own crown to take home! Suitable for pre-school children.

Decorate a crown and orb craft activity, Gravesend

Come along to Gravesend Library and help us decorate the library to celebrate the coronation. We need your help to decorate as many crowns and orbs to make into bunting. Suitable for children 4 to 11 years old.
