Transforming perinatal safety: A resource pack to support improvement in maternity and neonatal services in England states that Maternity Voices Partnerships should:
“Work with LMSs and local teams to ensure staff are aware of and working in partnership with specialist perinatal mental health services”
Similarly forthcoming implementation of the new maternal mental health hubs I believe has specific peer support roles which could /should be links for MVP rather than duplication . I know Toyin knows more about this from SE london , we haven’t yet set up in SW London but are trying to copy that model
