Hosting your own Coronation event?

If you’re hosting your own public event, street party or other celebration, submit your event plans to feature on our interactive map.

You can join up with your local community in lots of ways to plan a celebration together, such as setting up a group chat or using the Nextdoor app to connect with your neighbours. Make sure you read and follow the street party guidance on GOV.UK too.

Coronation Window Celebration, Rye

Get into the Coronation spirit with our Coronation Window Display. Free to see 24/7, with light and movement between 11am – 6pm daily. From the 22nd April, the shop front will be adorned with bunting.

Society rooms open. Displays and demonstrations, Northampton

Local natural history society. Photographic exhibition . Microscopy demonstrations and chance for all to try out our microscopes. Exhibition of telescopes and chance to look at the sun through our special solar scope (weather allowing). Chance to look round our rooms and collections.

King’s Coronation Afternoon Tea, Oldmeldrum

We are hosting an afternoon tea on Sunday 7th May from 2pm-4.30pm in Meldrum Square. Tickets are £10 for adults, £8 for 5-15 year olds and under 5’s are free. The money raised will be spent on community projects
