From the evening of the Friday 5th May to Monday 8th May there will be activities celebrating the Coronation in Dawlish on the Lawn. Friday 5th has a vigil at 5pm in the marquee followed by bingo in aid of one of the King’s charities. Saturday 6th May will be a live screening of the Coronation followed by a family film at 6pm. Sunday 7th May is live entertainment and encouraging people to come to the Lawn with a picnic and join in the activities. In the evening is a quiz by the Friends of Dawlish Library in the marquee from 7pm. On the Monday there is a street market and refreshers fair which encourages people to find out about local volunteering opportunities. We complete the celebrations with a singalong in the evening in the marquee.
