We have planned a coronanation wild flower meadow project. A big coronation community garden party royal theme for the local community . We have at 12 noon a demonstration of west indian plant based cooking , other activities bug and flower hunt, other activities to be arranged subject to funding. At 3.30 the tea party starts with kids making crowns wearing dress up and our volunteers will also dress up. Local partner social prescribing charity will be bringing their dance group . Our area is the 3rd most deprived area in the U.K and we want to provide the community with a special day to remember this historic event.

We are holding a community coronation party at our local community centre. We have a disco, bouncy castles, photo booth, face painters, live singer and games. We are also providing a picnic lunch for everyone who attends our event.

Plans are ongoing. After a special Sunday Service to mark the Coronation. It is planned that tables and chairs will be taken out to the Church lawn, weather permitting and the community of Eastriggs will be invited to join in a picnic lunch. This will be advertised well in advance.
