Hosting your own Coronation event?

If you’re hosting your own public event, street party or other celebration, submit your event plans to feature on our interactive map.

You can join up with your local community in lots of ways to plan a celebration together, such as setting up a group chat or using the Nextdoor app to connect with your neighbours. Make sure you read and follow the street party guidance on GOV.UK too.

Events

George Street, St Albans, Kings Coronation Public Celebration.

Join us to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III. Shops, bars and restaurants open their doors and bring their wares to the street for the community to enjoy. The road is closed to traffic to allow seating throughout the street. The Kings Coronation will be shown live on television in several of the establishments.

Big Lunch, Muir of Ord

We are Community Groups, that have come together to provide our Community with a Big Lunch in celebration. The groups involved are Muir of Ord Community Council, Muir of Ord Development Trust, Urray & Kilchrist Church of Scotland and Urray & Strathconon Free Church.

Coxley Coronation party

The Party involves a raft of activities such as prize games, live music, circus skills, arts & crafts, crazy golf, tombola, football darts and wellie wanging. There is also an Open Mic session Food is a bring-and-share event, as well as residents bringing along a drink to toast the King.

Coronation Picnic Funday, Brenchley

The Parish Council has worked with a number of local residents to arrange a community event for both villages to come together and celebrate the Coronation.
