Hosting your own Coronation event?

If you’re hosting your own public event, street party or other celebration, submit your event plans to feature on our interactive map.

You can join up with your local community in lots of ways to plan a celebration together, such as setting up a group chat or using the Nextdoor app to connect with your neighbours. Make sure you read and follow the street party guidance on GOV.UK too.

Watch the Coronation in Castleton Village Hall

A live screening of the coronation from 10:45am to approx. 2.30pm Free tea and coffee. Bring your own picnic Cake baking competition Come and join your community to watch a once in a lifetime event and celebrate the coronation of King Charles the Third

Children’s Coronation Crafts, Greasbrough

Tuesday 2nd May – Saturday 6th May 2023. Children’s Coronation crafts all week – have a go at making a Coronation suncatcher or make your own Coronation badge! We also have Royal themed colouring sheets and a scavenger hunt! Free activities suitable for ages 4+. No booking required, just drop in at the library!

Open Cinema, Swaffham

Swaffham Town Council have provided a large screen to show the Coronation and the Coronation Concert. They will also be showing ‘Top Gun Maverick’ on the Saturday evening and ‘Matilda the Musical 2022’ on Sunday afternoon prior to the Coronation Concert.
