Hosting your own Coronation event?

If you’re hosting your own public event, street party or other celebration, submit your event plans to feature on our interactive map.

You can join up with your local community in lots of ways to plan a celebration together, such as setting up a group chat or using the Nextdoor app to connect with your neighbours. Make sure you read and follow the street party guidance on GOV.UK too.

Volunteers Market, Horncastle

Celebrate the Coronation at Wordsley Library

Wordsley Library will be hosting Coronation celebrations all week commencing Saturday 29 April until Saturday 6 May! Children can join in making gold glitter crowns, coronation bookmarks and decorations! They also have the chance to have their picture taken with King Charles (as we have a life-size cut-out!)

Bring and Share Big Celebration Lunch, York

We are a community-focused parish church, who will be celebrating the Coronation with a Bring and Share lunch on Sunday 7th May, from 1pm-3pm. It is open to everybody who wishes to join us!

Hythe Library Local Studies Memory Tree

There is a special Coronation memory tree in Hythe Library for you to dedicate your personal message on a leaf to remember both the current coronation as well as Queen Elizabeth II‘s coronation. Pop into the library anytime to add your message.

Official Coronation Screening Site – Battersea

This screen will be live broadcasting the Coronation ceremony on Saturday 6th May. Big screens will be available in public places across the UK to show the Coronation, giving you the opportunity to come together with your local community and celebrate this historic moment. This is a free and public event.
