Walderslade Together (WALT) has a vision to take people from social isolation to socialisation. We do that through providing a programme of activities for people in our local community who are lonely, isolated or in need of support, friendship, fun and cake.
Over the Coronation Weekend we are involved in 3 celebratory events which will ensure our members celebrate this significant event with friends.
On Friday 5th working in partnership with our hosting friends at Harrow Court Retirement Flats in Lordswood we will be having a ‘Morning Cream Tea’, from 10 am.
On Saturday 6th starting at 10 am at the Net Community Hub in Walderslade there will be. ‘A Right Royal Knees up!’ event, where people from the local community can come together to watch the Coronation followed by an Afternoon buffet.
Finally On Monday 8th from 10 am at the Net Community Hub (Walderslade) we will host a Bank Holiday Coffee and Chat with Pancakes and Waffles for anyone in our local community who wants to join us.
People are welcome to come along and help us to celebrate this weekend together. We are based at The Net Community Hub 70 Silverweed Road, Walderslade Kent ME5 0QX.
