After the success of Kirk Deighton’s celebration of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, Kirk Deighton Events’ regal celebration returns on Sunday, 7th May. Everyone is welcome to the village cricket club for an afternoon of food, drink and entertainment to mark the coronation of King Charles III. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic, but BBQ food is available. The Bay Horse will also provide a pop up bar, and other drinks are available in the pavilion. Some amazing jackpot prizes can be won in the raffle, and this year you can even join the search to find the King’s crown. The tug o’war makes a return for 2023, with plenty more family fun to enjoy throughout the afternoon. All proceeds will go towards future village events, and after raising an incredible £3,000 for the DEC Ukraine appeal in 2022, this year we hope guests can help us once again make a generous contribution to charity, with the Prince’s Trust our chosen beneficiary. We’d be delighted to welcome you there.
