The city of Aberdeen is preparing to mark the King’s Coronation with a celebration event to allow residents and visitors to the city the chance to take part in the historic celebrations.
The family celebration event will be held in Sunday 7 May at Duthie Park from 11.30am – 2.30pm and will be completely free of charge, including all activities.
This fun-filled event will feature live music from ‘Iron Broo’ performed in the bandstand along with performances from The Grampian and District Pipes and Drums and The Rock Choir.
The range of free activities will include face painting, climbing wall, zorbs, movement evolution – agility course, wheelie Fun – segways and other come-and-try activities.
The public are being asked to bring their own picnics; however, the Duthie Park Café will be open and can provide take-away food and beverages.
