As the local parish church, our goal is to reach out to the community of Wombwell and show God’s love to all. With the King being the head of our church it is only appropriate that we celebrate his coronation in the good old-fashioned style of a street party- but with a twist. Where most street parties are for one street this is for the whole community.
The event will happen on Monday 8th May 12-2 pm at St Mary’s Church Wombwell. All events are planned to be outside- weather permitting on the church drive.
The event consists of a large prepared buffet, tombola, football shoot out, teddy bear parachute off of the church tower, and other games.
