St Mary’s, Bolsterstone Church Bell ringers will be joining ringers throughout the country in Ringing for the King” to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III on 6 May 2023.
For hundreds of years church bells have rung out, not only to call communities to worship, but also to celebrate special occasions, in remembrance of others and to signify special events.
At 2.30pm we will be ringing our peal of eight bells to celebrate the Coronation Churches. The bells were installed by Taylors of Loughborough in 1892 and have been fully refurbished and tuned by Taylors in 2022.
