The St Helena Government (The Government of St Helena), are organising events for the Coronation Celebrations.
Events will be held to celebrate the Coronation of Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort, beginning with a parade of uniformed contingents and a Service of Commemoration at 12 noon on the Supreme Court Terrace, followed by an afternoon of a variety of events for all ages to get involved.
Competitions on the day will include a Royal Bake Off, a Little King and Little Queen, and adult Royal Crown and Gown fancy dress competitions, and a Jacob’s Ladder Challenge. If you are participating in the Royal Bake Off competition.
Prizes of between £30 and £100 will be awarded to the winners, along with cash prizes for second and third place.
There will also be stalls, games, food, drink, novelty sports activities, bingo, live music and dance performances.
A celebratory cake will be cut and shared amongst the public in the afternoon and high tea will be on sale from a Royal themed marquee.
