Sleaford Town Council will be celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III on and around Saturday 6th May 2023!

On Friday 5th May 2023, there will be a tree planting ceremony at Boston Road Recreation Ground, Sleaford at 2.00pm. A tree will be planted to commemorate the Coronation.

On Saturday 6th May 2023, there will be a Farmers’ Market in Sleaford Market Place, a showing of the Coronation at Sleaford Town Hall from 9.30am (45 places available which must be booked in advance) and a large one day event at Boston Road Recreation Ground, Sleaford, from 9.00am to 7.30pm.

At the event on the Recreation Ground, there will be a large screen on the grass to watch the Coronation (free of charge and no booking required), a Charity 1.2K Fun Run (please book in advance using the form on our website www.sleaford.gov.uk on the What’s on in Sleaford section), trade stalls, live entertainment all day including our headline act Planet Abba, deckchairs, food and drink, beer and picnic tent, free face painting, free inflatables and bouncy castle, Flower Display Competition (please see the details on our website www.sleaford.gov.uk on the What’s on in Sleaford section), dancing and a Children’s Colouring Competition (please see the details on our website).

Dogs welcome and there will be public toilets at the event.
