The Somerset Heritage Centre will be opening it’s doors for a joint celebration of the Coronation of King Charles III and Somerset Day. See royal documents, have a behind-the-scenes tour and enjoy the opportunity to chat about your memories of royal occasions. Bring along your own royal items such as photographs, cards and orders of service so you can share your stories over a cup of tea and a biscuit.
See Somerset documents and objects relating to royals through the centuries including a rhyming chronology of the Kings of England from William I to Henry VI, a letter featuring the signature of Elizabeth I, Great Seals, and other documents celebrating coronations and jubilees.
Booking require, spaces still available for a 10:00am tour.
