The main objective of the Retford Business Forum is to promote Retford, the surrounding villages, and local area. Retford Business Forum (RBF CIC) is wholly committed to engaging with activities that promote prosperity and community spirit.
The Retford Coronation Celebration will be a free ‘bring your own lunch’ event in Retford Town Hall with entertainment from the Retford Ukelele Group, Jessica Mary Brett, Hannah Harris, and DJ Russ Brett. Children’s entertainment will be from Debutots storytelling and there will be a crown-making workshop from The Joker Entertainment, and face-painting by Kether. Light refreshments will be available from the WI and there will be a raffle, with prizes donated by Retford Business Forum, Jurassic Toys, Ryman, Ten Green Bottles and Bookworm. A craft market with the usual great range of gifts will be held in the Town Hall Buttermarket.
The event will be opened by Chairman of Bassetlaw District Council, Cllr Madelaine Richardson, and Retford Town Mayor, Cllr Sue Shaw – many thanks from Retford Business Forum for their support at this event and throughout their terms of office.
