Big Help Out activity: Homes and gardens of pupils’ families which are being decorated for the Coronation are marked on a map of Dalbeattie. 8th May is the day when participants can find all 20 places and gather a letter for an anagram. There is a vote for your favourite place too. Along the way people are encouraged to do one good deed for their local community. This could be donating a food item to Dalbeattie Food Bank, picking up litter or donating to the funds of Dalbeattie First Responders or Kippford RNLI. Forms to participate are available from Wed 4th May onwards in local shops: Spar; Londis; Coop; Dalbeattie Community Initiative and McCowans.
