P.U. Womens College in Sunamganj,Bangladesh is a voluntary organisation funded by ex pats living in Britain. Teachers from Uk often come to Bd to teach and support this college . Our main aim is to keep girls from poorer families in education.Most of these girls (80%)wouldn’t have had the opportunity to go on to higher education if it hadn’t been for our generosity. They would have been married of at an early age. A girl from the Hindu minority recently passed with the highest grade( GPS 5). No one has ever been to higher education in their family as they come from very very poor family background. We provide everything free of charge for these girls.eg books, uniform, bus fare,tuition fee, admin fee. It is probably the only institution in Bangladesh holding this once in a life time event. We are proud to celebrate this in Bangladesh as a member of the commonwealth countries. During the day the students will decorate the halls , listen to lectures about the Royal family and Monarchy. Watch the event. Do face painting , have fun with stuff sent from Uk , have food and drinks to enjoy the event. Letter writing completion to the King and Queen consort . Make crowns to wear in head .
