In Oldham town centre, between 10am and 6pm there’ll be family-friendly street performers, including the Bouncing Busby Guards and The Great British Garden Party – plus a musical extravaganza with the “Best of British” tribute bands:
- Do It Like Dua – A Tribute To Dua Lipa will bring us the lively sounds of dream pop and nu-disco.
- 70s-80s ska-pop Madness tribute band Gladness will take us “One Step Beyond”.
- Glam rockers Queen II will serenade King Charles III in royal style.
- Tania as Amy Winehouse will wrap Oldham in her smooth, sophisticated blues and jazz.
- Last but not least, Oldham’s very own The Threetles will take us back to the 60s Mersey Beat – they’re bigger than The Beatles (though not literally).
