Old Weston Village Hall with financial support from Old Weston Parish Council are celebrating The King’s Coronation with the folowing events:
BREAKFAST CLUB & CORONATION SCREENING
Saturday 6th May 10-12pm
In honour of the Coronation, we’re bringing Breakfast Club forward a week and changing the time slightly. On this occasion, breakfast will be served between 10am and noon. We’ll be broadcasting the entire Ceremony on the big screen during and after breakfast – please do stay and watch with us. Also, in addition to our usual breakfast menu, we’ll be offering all our customers a free Bucks Fizz to toast our new King.
CORONATION BIG LUNCH
Sunday 7th May 2-5pm
A picnic lunch and street party with your friends and neighbours. Please bring your picnic and fizz along to the Village Hall car park, where there will be loads of fun stuff going on! If the weather isn’t kind to us, we’ll move into the Village Hall.
THE BIG HELP OUT
Monday 8th May 2-4pm
As a tribute to His Majesty King Charles’ commitment to public service, a national day of local community volunteering has been declared for Bank Holiday Monday. We’d be grateful if you’d lend a hand by helping to give the Village Hall, playground and surrounding area a spring clean. In particular, the outside of the hall needs sprucing up. Thanks in advance for your help.
