Our village, Nether Heyford in Northamptonshire, has one of the largest village greens in the country. We won an ACRE gold award last year for our wonderful village community.
We have invited people, after they have watched the coronation, to bring their picnics, chairs, tables and, if necessary, awnings to the village green. There is a play park for children, the local pub will serve drinks (in plastic cups for safety), the local shop will sell ice cream, and the village hall will provide toilet accessibility.
Weather permitting we can all enjoy fresh air, sunshine and fun together on this special day.
