The Long Bennington Village Hall Committee is a volunteer organisation, which manages this important community asset on behalf of the Parish council, for the benefit of residents of the village. The hall is available to hire and is used by many local groups for meetings. In addition many people hire the hall for exercise classes and one-off events -including weddings.
The committee is also hosting events -and has recently hosted successful live theatre and music events, with more planned. The screening of the Platinum Jubilee was a great success , which we hope to repeat for the Coronation.
We are showing the coronation events on 6th May on a large screen. Doors open at 9.30 a.m. There will be a reasonably priced bar, refreshments and stalls. Children will be able to make a crown . The local Rotary team will be providing some entertainment and running a tombola.
