We are offering free kite-making workshops, a sponsored showing of “Mary Poppins” (all tickets £1.50), kite-related storytelling in our local bookshop, a kite-poetry competition. Shops are decorating their windows with kites. Weather permitting, we will encourage people to fly their kites on the day after the Coronation.
The Watermark is a central location in our town and where the film will be shown.
Other events will be in different venues around the town.
