We are a local church in the Pokesdown area of Bournemouth. We will gather in our Church Sanctuary on Saturday, 6th May, to watch together the Coronation Service of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. We will have printed copies of the Order of Service and will worship along with those at Westminster Abbey with the singing, readings, and prayers. We will open our doors from 10 am. Everyone is welcome to join us for this momentous event.
Afterwards we will have a time of refreshments. We will have finger sandwiches, crisps, and cake available for a £3 donation. Bring your own dish or dessert along to share too if you can as we celebrate with the nation and commonwealth. We plan to join our neighbours on Hannington Road for their street party. (In case of inclement weather we’ll be in our Church Hall.)
