Scouts actively engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. In partnership with adults, young people take part in fun indoor and outdoor activities. They learn by doing, by sharing in spiritual reflection and by taking responsibility.
2nd Hodnet Scouts is taking part in Hodnet Parish’s Coronation Celebrations at Hodnet Recreation Ground from 1200-1700 on Sunday 8 May. We will be running taster activities for young people and available to answer any questions about Scouting you may have.
2nd Hodnet Scouts has a Beavers Section for those aged 6-8 years old, a Cubs Section for those aged 8-10 1/2 years old and a Scouts Section for those aged 10 1/2-14. However, Scouting is not just for young people. We are constantly looking for adult volunteers to assist and enjoy the fulfilment of helping to develop our young people, as well as the social aspect of finding like-minded people.
