Hixon Millennium Green Trust owns, manages and maintains a small village park in the centre of Hixon (near Stafford). The Coronation Day event on 6th May 2023, will be a FREE to attend celebration suitable for all ages and abilities. In the morning, the Coronation will be shown on a large outdoor screen) or inside the adjacent village hall if inclement weather. Free coffee, tea and cakes will be served by the local scout group. In the afternoon, everyone is welcome to bring their own food and drink to enjoy live music acts, outdoor games and join-in singing (best Elvis Presley impersonator- the King of Rock n Roll. In the evening, the Sport of Kings (horse racing) will be shown on the big outdoor screen. Eight races, eight horses in each race. Coronation memorabilia will be given to all local children under 12 years old.
