We are Wavendon Parish Council and following the amazing Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee celebrations where the whole country and local communities came together to celebrate her amazing reign, we now come together to mark the Kings coronation and show support for his future reign. Saturday will be an opportunity for families to spend the time together to watch the ceremony as it happens. On Sunday there will be a special service at St Mary’s Church on Walton Rd, in the afternoon it will be followed by “The Big Cream Tea” community event at church The Rectory. On the Monday, we will have a “The Big Help Litter Pick” community event followed by celebrations and the official opening on the brand new Community Hub on Dankworth Way, Wavendon.
