Hexham Community Centre exists for the benefit of the residents of Hexham and the surrounding villages. Our primary charitable purposes are the provision of free or low cost activity for local people, particularly local families living in poverty, and the alleviation of social isolation and loneliness.
The Coronation provides an excellent opportunity to reward the creativity of our children. The Kids’ Art Competition asks Hexham’s children to create an artwork inspired by the Coronation on A4 paper. The best 3 in each age category will be displayed as part of new public display commemorating the Coronation, and the best artist in each category will win a special art prize.
