The Town Council works for our community from within the community. We look after several recreation grounds, and began holding annual outdoor community events last year. The Council wishes to encourage members of our community to come together and enjoy a free event every summer. The Coronation Picnic will show the Coronation on a big screen in our biggest park, and people are welcome to come along and perch on a hay bale to watch the Coronation, listen to our local brass band and enjoy the childrens craft and nature activities.
