For the Coronation of King Charles III and the must-see exhibition Crown to Couture at Kensington Palace, Brent Libraries has invited Local Artist, Designer and Historian, Warren Reilly to present his research as part of this Kilburn Library Coffee Morning.

The talk will be focused on how aristocratic fashions of the 18th century illustrated difference within society, using The Double Portrait of Dido Elizabeth Belle and Lady Elizabeth Murray by David Martin.

About the speaker
Warren studied Textiles in Practice (Ba Hons) at Manchester School of Art, graduating in July 2019 with a First Class Degree. Warren is the director of the Brent 2020 Culture Fund project, Fashioning Our History, a project working with young people in Brent to explore diversity in fashion and art.
