Through fun, friendship, challenge and adventure we empower girls to find their voice, inspiring them to discover the best in themselves and to make a positive difference in their community.
Durham North County are Visiting Beamish Museum as our way to celebrate the King’s Coronation together with 1600 members joining in the fun.
We have 9 Divisions within the County (Blaydon; Derwentside; Gateshead; Jarrow; South Shields; Sunderland North; Sunderland South; Washington and Houghton; Whickham)and each division is in need of more leaders and people to help with admin, general help, flexible Guiding occasional help.
Leaders will be present on the day to talk to you about Volunteering, we are a friendly bunch so just speak to one of the leaders, they will be visible as all wearing our uniform with pride, whilst we celebrate the Coronation.
Beamish is open for the day for the public and we will also be present, visiting the museum and participating in activities.
