Fleet Coronation Celebrations! Sunday, 7th May, 2023 – 2pm – 10pm
Fleet high street and Calthorpe Park

So, what’s going on that makes Fleet so special?
• A Coronation Parade right through the town centre with marching bands and entertainment. Ahead of the Parade will be a procession of 100 Classic Cars & Supercars!
• The Car Procession & Coronation Parade will finish up in Calthorpe Park (where the Cars will park up for everyone to admire) and the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, no less, will be there to welcome everybody!
• In the Park, there will be a stage full of entertainment, two giant assault courses, over 30 hot & cold food and drink stalls, a Dog Show, competitions, plus so many fun attractions for all ages that it is difficult to list (keep your eyes on the official website www.fleetcoronation.org.uk as details firm up!)
• Because our new King is so committed to voluntary work, all the local voluntary and community have also been invited to set up their stands in the park, so visitors can really get to know them and the work they do – and hopefully join up to start their own volunteering journey!
The whole day will finish off with a fabulous firework!

This fabulous event is absolutely free to attend, and most attractions are free as well, so I recommend that you get over to Fleet high street to see the Car and Parade spectacle and then head straight to Calthorpe Park for all the fun. You are welcome to take your own picnic or purchase from the wonderful food and drink stalls and settle down for a superb celebration! The organisers are keeping their fingers crossed that the sun will shine! The way that Fleet celebrates, I would think that is almost guaranteed!
