The Falkland Islands Museum & National Trust is organising six separate events over the Coronation weekend, on behalf of the Falkland Islands Government. These events include:
– Afternoon Tea for members of the community who remember the Queen’s Coronation in 1953
– A Royal Fancy Dress Party for the youngest members of the community where we will crown our very own King and Queen
– A live music/karaoke event for our young adults with Coronation Mocktails and food
– The Big Lunch and volunteer EXPO for all members of the community
– A live music event for over 15s
– The Big Help Out where members of the local community and military personnel will come together to volunteer on 3 different projects.
