Volunteer members of Essendon village in Hertfordshire with the support of the Parish Council and St Mary the Virgin CofE church are organising an ‘Essendon Picnic on the Field’ to celebrate the coronation of His Majesty Charles III. The Field is the village cricket field in the heart of the village and the event will be between 3 pm and 7 pm on Sunday 7 May 2023. There will be a BBQ, Bar and Real Ale in the cricket pavilion, live music and bouncy castles and races for the kids. Free parking. (School hall if wet). Bring your own Picnic, Drinks, blankets, chairs, sunscreen etc! A SPLENDID TIME IS GUARANTEED FOR ALL! GOD SAVE THE KING.
