Datchet Village Fete, supported by Datchet Parish Council, will take place on Sunday May 7th as part of the King’s Coronation celebrations.
Our Coronation Fete will include lots of fete favourites, along with extra attractions including !daft! – our amazing live band. There will be plenty of food and drink choices including a barbecue, pakoras, beer, prosecco, ice cream and tea and cakes. Old favourites will include the ever-popular bottle tombola, bouncy castle fun, face painting, fire engine, classic cars, football penalty shoot-out, stalls including craft stalls, a book stall, chutneys and jams and many others, and arena events including Datchet Border Morris and local dance and music. New this year will be a Children’s Fancy Dress parade for all the young princes and princesses out there, and our bonkers dog show! Six classes will include ‘dog most like its owner’ to ‘best dressed dog’ and ‘best oldie’! Registration will take place on the day between 12.30pm and 2pm. Judging will start at 3pm. £2 per entry.
Come along and have a great day out, and help raise money for charities and other good causes that benefit local people. Like us on Facebook, Datchet Village Fete.
