A planning group came together to plan a weekend of events starting with:
Friday – The Big Coronation Play by children from the primary school – takes place in the church followed by cream teas for parents and other residents
A.M. Saturday – a large screen live stream of the Coronation in the Village Hall for people who wish to view with friends, family. Refreshments provided
P.M. Saturday – a Bring Your Own community Picnic with live music, children’s entertainment, bar and refreshments
Sunday – The Big Coronation Breakfast with Tombola and raffle. Afterwards, The Firehouse restaurant and bar is putting on The Big Coronation ‘PINGO’ (special deal of Pizza, Bingo and a drink)
