Discover Children’s Story Centre is the UK’s first hands-on creative literacy centre for children aged 0-11 years and their families, carers and teachers.
At the heart of the centre, our purpose-built Story World and Story Garden are creative play spaces designed to inspire children’s curiosity and imagination. Our dedicated Story Builders tell tall tales and help visitors create their own stories for Hootah, our resident baby space alien, to send back to his planet Squiggly Diggly, which has run out of imagination.
From 6-8 May, as an additional free drop-in activity: create your own crown… and dress up your outfit, perfect for a palace of your choice. Design your crown with a bold statement and colourful craft. Don a piece of costume. Strike a pose, smile and take a pic.
