Coventry City Coronation Day

A huge screen will be installed in Broadgate to show the historic occasion of the Coronation of King Charles III. Come and join the celebrations. There will be picnic benches and deckchairs for your use, street entertainers adding to the atmosphere, Union jack flag waving and red, white and blue city dressing which will all create a moment of civic pride for the city.
Bring family, friends and a picnic or use one of the many city centre shops and restaurants to celebrate the coronation.

The Big Picnic – Broadgate

Location: Broadgate, Coventry city centre
Cost: Free
Bring your friends, family & picnics to the city centre for the city street party in Broadgate. A bandstand will be in place with music from brass bands including the Festival Band and the Incredible Bombay Baja Brass Band. This free family get-together for the city will encourage proud Coventrians to enjoy being together and enjoy the regal-themed street entertainers. There will be children’s “have a go” crafty activities as well as environmental activities that reflect the new King’s personal interests.
