This free event takes place in Kingswood Park, an area accessible to all. There is no charge to take part, participants are free to come and go as they please. Visitors bring their own picnic, but We Are BS15, a CIC, will provide a picnic to order, on a pay-what-you can-afford basis, for those unable to provide their own. Collect these from the Trinity Church Hall on the day. Pre-order online at wearebs15.co.uk or phone 01454 300186 a three or four days before.
The event provides an opportunity for the community to come together to enjoy a picnic in Kingswood Park during the Sunday of the coronation weekend of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. The Friends of Kingswood Park are hosting the event. A musician provides background music. Visitors bring their own picnic. No traders are invited. Freedom Church provide free hot and cold drinks. Trinity Church and Southern Brooks provide small children’s games such as hook the duck.
